Terms & Conditions
Effective date: 1 June 2026 · Last updated: 19 June 2026
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Enlyt (“we”, “our”, “us”), a multi-tenant school management SaaS platform. Please read them carefully before using the platform.
If you have questions about these Terms, contact us at support@enlyt.in.
1. Acceptance of terms
Agreement
By accessing or using Enlyt, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
Who can use Enlyt
Enlyt is intended for use by schools, educational institutions, and their authorised staff. Administrators who create a school account represent and warrant that they have authority to bind the institution to these terms.
2. The service
What we provide
Enlyt is a multi-tenant SaaS platform covering school admissions, academics, attendance, finance, and parent communication. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the platform during your subscription.
Service availability
We target 99.5% uptime and communicate planned maintenance in advance. Unplanned outages will be communicated via status updates. We are not liable for downtime caused by third-party infrastructure, force majeure, or misuse.
Changes to the service
We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. Where a change materially reduces functionality you rely on, we will provide at least 30 days' notice.
3. Accounts & access
Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@enlyt.in if you suspect unauthorised access.
User roles
The school administrator controls access for all users within their tenant. Administrators are responsible for granting appropriate roles and revoking access when staff leave.
Prohibited use
You must not attempt to probe, scan, or penetration-test the platform without written permission; introduce malware or disruptive code; scrape data via automated means; or access any other tenant's data.
4. Data ownership
Your data is yours
All school data — student records, financial data, communication logs — belongs to the school. Enlyt processes this data only as directed by the school and does not claim any ownership over it.
Data export
You may request a full export of your data at any time. We will provide it in standard formats (CSV/JSON) within 14 business days at no charge.
Data deletion
Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 90 days to allow re-activation or export. After 90 days it is permanently deleted. You may request immediate deletion by contacting support@enlyt.in.
5. Payment & subscriptions
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. By providing payment details you authorise us to charge the applicable fee on each renewal date.
Price changes
We will give at least 30 days' notice before increasing subscription prices. Continued use of the platform after the notice period constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
Refunds
Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period. Annual subscriptions may be eligible for a pro-rated refund upon written request within 14 days of payment.
Suspension for non-payment
Accounts overdue by more than 14 days may be suspended. Suspended accounts retain read-only data access for 30 days before entering the deletion queue.
6. Intellectual property
Enlyt IP
The Enlyt platform, branding, source code, and documentation are the exclusive intellectual property of Enlyt. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of Enlyt's software.
Feedback
If you submit suggestions, bug reports, or feature requests, you grant Enlyt a perpetual, royalty-free licence to use that feedback in any way without obligation to you.
7. Limitation of liability
No warranties
The platform is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Enlyt disclaims all implied warranties including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Liability cap
Enlyt's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform shall not exceed the total fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Excluded damages
Enlyt is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages — including loss of data, revenue, or goodwill — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Termination
By you
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support@enlyt.in. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
By us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you breach these terms, engage in prohibited use, or if required by law. We will give reasonable notice where circumstances allow.
Effect of termination
On termination, your licence to use the platform ends. Data retention and deletion follows the schedule described in the Data Ownership section above.
9. Governing law
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India.
Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify school administrators by email and update the effective date above. Continued use of Enlyt after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
